FROM THE DESK OF ROBERT H. KOUFFMAN, ESQ.
I have always viewed the law as a noble profession. It is holding yourself and the work you do to a higher standard. It requires honing, like the sharpest of blades, that unique combination of knowledge and skills that grant you not only the right, but the privilege of being an advocate.
I was inspired by a tradition codified by the founding fathers and practiced by men like John Adams, Abraham Lincoln, William Jennings Bryant, Oliver Wendell Holmes, Clarence Darrow, and Benjamin Cardozo.
I embarked on this profession because I saw the law as an avenue by which I could do some good while doing well. My belief in a commitment to the greater good was forged during my service in the Marine Corps and has remained a passion of mine to this very day.
When you walk through these doors you will find yourself in a firm fully committed to these ideals while providing prompt, efficient and responsive rendering of superior legal services in dealing with client matters.
The East End is my home. I take great pride in our well-earned reputation of being a diligent and hard working practice dedicated to developing and maintaining long lasting client relationships while servicing our clients legal needs at the highest level.
After all these are not only my clients, they are my neighbors.
I invite you to contact either my office in Bridgehampton or East Hampton if you have a legal matter of concern.
